School Readiness - Bridge to School
School Readiness, also known as Bridge to School in our district, is a program to help children and families prepare for kindergarten.
Interesting Facts
The overall goal of School Readiness is to ready children for a successful school experience.
The Work Sampling Checklist is used to assess children’s skills in fall and in the spring. Children in the program have shown significant progress in attaining “proficient” ratings in a variety of age appropriate readiness skills.
Parents attend 2 parent-teacher conferences each year. Almost 100% of families attend conferences.
