Kelli comes to us with over 20 years experience as a legal professional and bookkeeper. She grew up in Mankato and moved to the state of Washington shortly after high school graduation where she obtained an Associates Degree in Bookkeeping and Accounting. She has recently returned to Minnesota following her husband’s employment. Kelli and her husband have a four-year old daughter. Kelli is currently a stay-at-home mom who became interested in the inter-workings of ECFE when looking for a valuable way to give time to her community. She accepted an invitation to join the Foundation board and took the position of Treasurer. Prior to joining the Foundation Kelli served five years on the Everett Chorale Association Board (three years as secretary).
"I was introduced to ECFE when I moved to this area last year. Since that time my daughter and I have attended a class every quarter. Being new in the area, this program helped me form new friendships. This type of program is not new to me. I experienced a similar program in Washington: a preschool co-op, which my daughter and I attended for two years. Just as in ECFE we both learned, she through play and me through a parent educator. It never ceases to amaze me how much people learn from each other by sharing information. It is an added bonus to receive information from educated and experienced personnel. It takes a program like this to bring people together to discuss important issues surrounding our childrens’ upbringing. I'm proud to be a part of such a valuable program."
